Miss Multicultural Vietnam is a contest approved by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. This is a national beauty contest to honor the beauty, intelligence and cultural identity of Vietnamese women, where the contestants not only show their physical strength, talent and courage, but also spread the precious traditional values of the nation to the domestic and foreign communities.
Miss Phan Kim Oanh - Head of the contest's judging panel - said: "Miss Culture Vietnam will not only stop at honoring physical beauty, but also open a journey to spread national cultural values. The contest is a gathering place for modern Vietnamese girls, brave, intelligent, and proud of their national identity. Through the rounds, precious traditional values will be aroused, preserved and widely promoted to the community, especially the younger generation and international friends.
The Miss Culture Vietnam Jury also included People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien - Deputy Head of the Jury, People's Artist Nguyen Hai, People's Artist Trung Hieu, People's Artist Tran Nhuong, Meritorious Artist Quang Te, actress Thanh Huong, Miss Vu Thi Hoa, Miss Nguyen Thi Thua, Miss Nguyen Thi Huyen, Miss Sao Mai.
When asked why the organizing committee invited artists and actors to be members of the judges, Meritorious Artist Quang Teo said that this was completely reasonable.
"With the entire People's Artist and Meritorious Artist jury, the contestants will not be able to perform with us. If you are confident, perform well or not, we will know immediately and can " read" your confusion right away. Therefore, I think it is very reasonable for the organizing committee to choose all actors as judges because we can help you improve", said Meritorious Artist Quang Teo.
Meanwhile, People's Artist Tran Nhuong affirmed that the invited artists are all people who have experience in judging beauty contests: "We artists are silk children to beautify life, so we will know how to look at life as beautiful. We have worked in culture all our lives, so I think choosing Miss Culture Vietnam will be quite accurate. I myself have also participated in many beauty contests and have also been a judge for many years, so I will try to fulfill my responsibility to find a beauty worthy of the title of Miss Culture Vietnam".
The contest is also an official selection round to find Vietnam's representative to attend Miss Multicultural World - an international beauty pageant that gathers contestants from many countries and territories, where candidates compete not only in beauty but also in knowledge, talent and cultural understanding.
