The film revolves around McAvoy playing Patrick Field, a ruthless and insane man with violent tendencies, along with his wife Ciara (played by Aisling Franciosi) and their "mute" son Ant, vacationing on a picturesque island in Italy.
There, Patrick's family meets Ben's family (played by Scoot McNairy), along with his wife Louise (played by Mackenzie Davis) and daughter Agnes. They become friends after sharing moments of laughter during dinner conversations.

Then, an invitation to visit Patrick's house in the West becomes a significant milestone, opening a new chapter full of horror and surprises.
A seemingly peaceful vacation in a dreamy land quickly turns into a terrifying nightmare as Ben's family inadvertently gets drawn into the bizarre life of Patrick's family.

Beneath the friendly exterior, Patrick, with his ruthless and insane nature, is plotting something terrifying. Strange events continuously occur, making Ben's family feel uneasy and eager to leave as soon as possible.
The son Ant, with his mysterious actions and mutilated tongue, further intensifies the eerie atmosphere.
As everything reaches its peak, Ben's family decides to escape this "hell" amidst continuous attacks from the "madman" Patrick. The once friendly tourist is no more; now the image of a "beast in human disguise" emerges. The life-and-death chase officially begins.
The horror movie "Speak no evil" (Vietnamese title: Không nói điều dữ) is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 13, 2024.
