Mrs. An (Phuc An) always acts strictly towards Lam (Nguyen Vu), does not accept her son's pursuit of art, thinking it is just a poverty- strewn adventure. Every time they mentioned it, there was a conflict between the mother and child. But deep down, she never stopped worrying. Lam also understands that, just that he is not brave enough to prove to his mother that his passion is not sudden.
Meanwhile, Cao Ky (Le Ngoc Trinh) finally confessed to herself that she had given up her affection for Hai (Nguyen Quoc Truong Thinh) a long time ago. Previous actions - from creating a storm at a birthday party to a trip to Phu Quoc - were just a test. She no longer hopes Hai will love her, but only wants to confirm whether Hai's heart truly belongs to Linh (Tuong Vi). And the answer is very clear. Her coming to the doctor (event organizer) to propose a wedding ceremony was not for any reason, but simply as the last gift she gave Hai before ending the unrequited relationship over the years.
Linh met Hai to discuss his and Cao Ky's wedding plans. On the surface, the conversation was just work, but deep down, both were disrupted. The emotions that have been hidden for so long suddenly arose, making every look, every word become heavy. Hai tried to appear calm, but Linh hid her chaos in her heart. Both of them understood that even though they were facing each other, the gap was too big.
Finally, Cao Ky made the most important decision of her life: she would leave Vietnam, completely abandoning her relationship with Hai. Before leaving, she gave Hai a video - footage recording the moment Linh was heartbroken when hearing the news that he was about to get married. At that moment, all the suppression in Hai's heart seemed to break. He always told himself that their relationship was over, that Linh had never been honest with him. But the expression in that video made Hai confused: were you wrong from the start?
