According to statistics from publisher CJ HK Entertainment, the movie "The Extreme Comedian" recorded the percentage of audiences choosing to watch the audio format, accounting for 70% of the tickets sold.
The film officially premiered on March 14. As of the morning of March 15, the film has earned more than 14 billion VND and ranked in the top 3 at the Vietnamese box office.
Vietnamese audiences have the opportunity to approach the Korean comedy genre through a witty dubbing version. It can be seen that "localization" partly shortens the gap between local audiences and foreign products.
However, the factor that conquers the audience is still the interesting script, dramatic action and charming role-playing of the famous Korean actors.
"The Extreme Comedy Shooter" is showing in theaters nationwide with subtitles and dialogue.
