The 20th season gathers nearly 60 outstanding artists, works and projects of V-pop in 2025, spanning 10 important categories.
According to the organizers, the Cong Hien Award was initiated by The thao va Van hoa newspaper in 2005, with the participation of the press nationwide. Since 2023, the award has been expanded into an ecosystem including two fields: music and sports. This year's Cong Hien Music Award continues to recognize the diversity of the Vietnamese mass music market.
In the Song of the Year category, many outstanding products participated such as Quang Hung MasterD's "Laughterful Eyes", Hoa Minzy's "Bac Bling" combined with Meritorious Artist Xuan Hinh, Masew and Tuan Cry, My Anh's "Letting Go", Hoang Dung's "One Day" with rapper Den, or Tung Duong's "Vietnam - Proudly Following the Future".
In the Music Video of the Year category, "Bac Bling" continued to appear alongside products such as "Dù cho tận thế (vẫn yêu em)" by ERIK, "Giữ anh cho ngày hôm qua" by Hoang Dung combined with Rhymastic, or "Mục hạ vô nhân" by SOOBIN and rapper Binz.
Album of the Year category also recorded many notable projects such as MIN's "Dear Min", Van Mai Huong's "Beauty", Thanh Lam's "Movie", Phung Khanh Linh's "Between Ten Thousand People" and Huong Tram's "Phao Cuu Sinh".
In the individual categories, the Male Singer of the Year category gathers familiar faces such as Tung Duong, Hoang Dung, Duc Phuc, Phan Manh Quynh, SOOBIN, Quoc Thien and Trong Hieu. Meanwhile, the Female Singer of the Year category features Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Hoa Minzy, Ho Quynh Huong, Van Mai Huong, Thanh Lam, Phung Khanh Linh, Dong Nhi, Huong Tram and Vo Ha Tram.
In addition, many prominent producers and musicians were also nominated such as Ho Hoai Anh, JustaTee, SlimV, Huy Tuan, Hua Kim Tuyen or DTAP production group.
From 3:00 PM on March 5th, the public can participate in voting for nominations through the BVOTE system. The first round of voting takes place until the end of March 15th to select the Top 5 official nominations in each category. After that, the final round lasts until April 5th, with the final result calculated according to a ratio of 50% of the public's votes and 50% of the votes of music-watching journalists nationwide.
The 20th Contribution Award Ceremony in 2026 is expected to take place on the evening of April 15 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi).
