The contest was jointly organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Writers' Association, and the final results were announced. The A prize in the novel category was awarded to writer Duong Binh Nguyen with the work "The Wind Still Blows in the Tropical Forest" - the first novel in Vietnam to exploit the theme of data crimes.
The work is considered a breakthrough in public security literature in the digital age, taking readers into the world of cybersecurity, where "invisible" crimes are recreated through literature.
Along with that, two other A prizes were awarded to Facing by Dr. Pham Quang Long and Afternoon Through the Town by writer Nguyen Thu Hang.

This contest attracted 132 authors with 140 works, reflecting the strong transition of the Public Security literature line from recreating achievements to exploiting the depth of psychology, ethics and technology.
Colonel Tran Cao Kieu, Deputy Director of the People's Public Security Communications Department, Director of the People's Public Security Publishing House, said that many records that were once decentralized have become valuable documents for writers, helping the Public Security literature expand the range of reflection in the digital age.
Writer Nguyen Quang Thieu, Chairman of the Vietnam Writers' Association, commented: "This contest is a success in terms of both ideas, messages and artistic quality. The authors have dared to step into the sacred land, where literature meets loyalty and silent sacrifice.
"The Wind Still Blows in the Tropical Forest" follows the characters Lanh Hoang Bach, Duong Hoa, Cong Trien and Luu Bach Dan in their journey to find the nature of " self- Determined Deaths" - where personal tragedy reveals the great deal of invisible data. With a lyrical voice mixing investigation and lyrical, Duong Binh Nguyen creates a world that is both poetic and cold, both humane and overwhelming with the truth.
Writer Suong Nguyet Minh, a member of the jury, commented: "The work has modern techniques, online structure and language rich in philosophy, opening a green, new direction for literature on the subject of Public Security".
After 15 years of writing, Duong Binh Nguyen - Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the People's Public Security Television Subcommittee returned with a familiar and profound voice, reflecting moral conflicts in the data world. The award not only recognizes a breakthrough work, but also marks the transformation of Vietnamese Public Security literature, when the "reeze" of humanity is still silently blowing through the data forest of the new era.
