The program gathers 30 young contestants, selected from thousands of applications nationwide, through more than 100 days of closed training.
The training roadmap is divided into many stages, from basic foundations such as vocals, choreography, stage performance to advanced skills including teamwork, personal image control and communication interaction. Each stage is associated with periodic assessment rounds, forcing candidates to continuously adapt and improve their abilities.
A noteworthy point of the "All-around Newcomer" program is the construction of operating thinking according to the group model from the beginning. Contestants are not only evaluated in terms of personal ability but also in terms of team coordination, maintaining the common performance rhythm and building collective identity. This clearly reflects the direction of creating a highly organized music group, instead of focusing on a few outstanding faces.
After more than 9 months of training and screening, 7 best contestants were selected to form the UPRIZE group.

The group is positioned in the direction of multi-talented male idols, capable of performing live, mastering the stage and maintaining a unified image on many platforms. The group's development strategy not only revolves around music but also expands to exchange activities, school performances and building a fan community.
Unlike the traditional artist model in Vietnam, where individuals often develop their own careers, the journey from the "All-around Newcomer" program shows a systematic approach: centralized training, synchronous image management and clear roadmap planning according to each stage.
The band was not pushed to the market immediately, but went through a stage of "incubation" to shape their style and performance ability.
In the context that the Vietnamese entertainment industry is lacking formal training models for young artists, the "All-around Newcomer" program can be seen as a noteworthy experiment. The program not only creates a new band, but also opens up a different approach to idol building: considering training as the core foundation, long-term strategy is more important than short-term effects.
