At the event, Thanh Hang said she accepted to be the host of this year's season after many refuses. Thanh Hang shared that she saw the love and expectation of everyone, and that was part of the reason why she accepted to return.
Not only an iconic face in the fashion industry, Thanh Hang also brings to Vietnam's Next Top Model a clear, in-depth training philosophy and high career orientation. When asked about the factors to train a professional model, she gave a specific ratio: 40% comes from qualities - potential, 30% from attitude, and the remaining 30% is courage. According to her, many candidates possess good appearance and skills, but lack professional thinking and the ability to adapt to practical pressure.
For her, professional thinking is the core factor that helps a model go further. The model must not simply go out and go on the catwalk, but must know the system of work he or she does, clearly understand what he or she represents, and how to shine not only with his or her outfit but also with his own personality.
According to her, a person's success comes not only from appearance or talent, but is often determined by the attitude towards life and the way you treat others.
Regarding the drama factor - often controversial in reality TV shows - Thanh Hang clearly expressed her point of view. She did not prevent contestants from responding or expressing their emotions, but said that their attitude and performance needed to be adjusted.
Referring to the challenges of the program, Thanh Hang excitedly revealed the creativity and enthusiasm of the team this year, with the participation of two creative directors Ha Do and Nam Trung.
Answering a question about the pressure of taking on the role of host, Thanh Hang said she did not feel pressured, but instead gratitude.
