The contestants were present to register, measure their human resources and participate in the catwalk performance in front of the judges. The prominent faces continue to enter the interview round to comprehensively assess their thinking, communication skills, behavioral skills and stage personality.
At the end of the competition day, the Jury selected the 50 best contestants to enter the National Finals.
The jury of the Preliminary round includes Head of the judges - Miss Ha Kieu Anh; Deputy Head of the judges - Miss Luong Thuy Linh; along with members such as Miss Tran Tieu Vy, Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, MC Le Quynh Tram and designer Thanh Huong Bui. Accompanying him were Master Pham Kim Dung, director Hoang Nhat Nam and Runner-up Huynh Minh Kien.
According to Master Pham Kim Dung, the quality of this year's contestants is uniform and somewhat outstanding, especially in their demeanor, communication skills and meticulous preparation. Many contestants have the spirit of meeting the Miss World criteria: gentle, humane and intellectual. This year's group of contestants ranges from the age group born in 2000 to 2007, showing a youthful and confident spirit. The average height of over 1m70 is also a big plus for the Final round.
Not only outstanding in appearance, the Miss World Vietnam 2025 contestants attract attention for their educational foundation. Many candidates come from leading universities such as the Diplomatic Academy, Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, International University... Some candidates are studying for a Master's degree or are working as bilingual MC, university lecturer, engineer, doctor, pharmaceutical doctor.
Foreign language proficiency continues to be a bright spot as many candidates confidently communicate in English. Some candidates with high IELTS certificates such as Truong Tam Nhu (8.0), Phan Phuong Oanh (7.5) or Phung Dieu Linh (7.). Many candidates also use Chinese, Japanese and French.
After the meet-down round, 80 contestants entered the interview round, where they expressed their personalities through the conversation, answering questions and expressing their talents. The judges then selected the Top 50 to enter the final.
The crowned contestant will succeed Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi and represent Vietnam at Miss World 2025.
