Although he does not appear often in the media, Tran Vu still leaves his mark with his emotional songs and sharp musical thinking. He began his musical career in grade 7, with the organ and guitar.
When he arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, Tran Vu studied vocal music at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. However, it was not until he won the award at the Sao Mai contest that he became truly widely known to the audience as a singer.
After a period of singing, Tran Vu began to want to make his own music products. He shared: "I started with zero, self-study, self-working, step by step and then became a bad job". Up to now, Tran Vu has not only produced music for himself but also supported many other singers. For him, standing on stage helps him understand the emotions and psychology of performers, thereby creating more in-depth and sympathetic arrangements.
He spends most of his time in the studio, only singing when there is inspiration or a new product. make music without limits, without any level that is enough, only I see enough or not. Every day I work a little more, I improve a little more, he said.
When asked about the milestone that helps the audience know him better, Tran Vu said that it was no longer so important to him at the present time. He thought he didn't care about how others viewed him anymore. For him, each artist will have his own choice in how to live and express himself, and that does not necessarily have to be completely tied to work.
His debut song "Chot quen, tung vao top Bai Viet 2014, is a song written about mothers. For Tran Vu, family affection is always the most important material in music and in his own life.
