Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Director of Da Nang City Police, from 12:00 on July 25, the Da Nang City Traffic Police Department deployed a peak period of general control of road and waterway transport vehicles.
In just the first 5 days of the campaign, the Traffic Police force detected and handled 345 violations, including: 161 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 64 cases of speeding, 18 cases of carrying more people than the prescribed number, 21 cases of not wearing seat belts.
In addition, the authorities also discovered many violations related to lack of transportation contracts, no transportation orders and other errors.
The Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police said it will continue to mobilize 100% of the force, deploying 24/7 control forces on key routes. The handling of violations will be strictly implemented in the spirit of "respect for the law" - no forbidden areas, no exceptions".
In parallel with the inspection, the Traffic Police force also increased propaganda, reminded drivers, raised awareness of law compliance when driving, contributing to ensuring traffic safety, especially during peak tourist and festival times.
The peak period of general control of road and waterway transport vehicles in Da Nang will take place until August 25.
