More than 12,700 drivers and bus assistants pledge to comply with traffic safety

Gia Lai - Drivers and businesses pledge not to overload or oversize cargo to avoid special penalties during the harvest season of agricultural products such as noodles and sugarcane.

In 2024, through patrol and control work, the Traffic Police force of Gia Lai Provincial Police discovered and recorded 1,147 cases of oversized and overloaded violations.

Authorities imposed a fine of nearly 6 billion VND and revoked 169 driving licenses.

In the 2024-2025 crop year alone, the Provincial Traffic Police inspected, detected, and handled 151 cases with a fine of VND 662 million and revoked 35 driving licenses.

Along with that, the police force requested 294 agricultural product purchasing and selling agents, 438 transportation enterprises, 12,797 drivers and assistants to commit to strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety.

Drivers commit to not carrying oversized or overloaded vehicles, not extending the cargo bed, and ensuring technical safety conditions when participating in traffic.
