Engaging Vietnam - Connecting Vietnam is an annual, interdisciplinary, multi-disciplinary international scientific conference series, founded by Professor Phan Le Ha in 2009, and developed by Associate Professor Liam C. Kelley over the years, with the persistent support of Dr. Le Thuy Linh. This year, the organizer is the University of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts, VNU-SIS. The workshop took place from December 12-16, 2025 at 3 locations: (1) Hanoi National University, 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi; (2) Hall 19 Le Thanh Tong, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi; (3) Tran Phu Boarding School, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi.

The 15th Engaging Vietnam has the theme: "Creating knowledge, Creative Industry, Education, and the AI Era: Looking back and Looking forward to the future", aiming at the following goals:

Promote in-depth, open and highly critical academic dialogues revolving around the topics of knowledge, education, culture, technology, creativity and development in the context of Vietnam's connection with the world.

Open up new approaches in creating and sharing knowledge about Vietnam from traditional fields such as social sciences - humanities to interdisciplinary fields such as arts, creative industries, education, communication, digital transformation and sustainable development.

Strengthening connections and cooperation between the domestic and international academic communities, thereby creating an in-depth, sustainable and intergenerational research and innovation network.

Within the framework of 4 days, the Workshop is expected to welcome more than 300 domestic and international delegates, with nearly 10 plenary sessions, more than 40 parallel sessions, book and author introduction sessions, and many interactive activities of academics, culture, and art.
