The Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee has just issued a project to merge Ninh Thuan Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station, establishing a new unit called Ninh Thuan Newspaper and Radio and Television Station. This unit operates according to the career model under the Provincial Party Committee.
According to the project, Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Newspaper is the mouthpiece of the Provincial Party Committee, government and people, and also plays an information bridge between the Party, government and local people. This unit is a public service organization with revenue and press activities according to the regulations of the Party and State laws.
Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Newspaper will carry out tasks in the province, and at the same time coordinate with agencies and organizations nationwide on content related to expertise. The unit's press products include: Ninh Thuan Electronic Newspaper, television channels, radio channels, social network infrastructure, electronic information pages and print newspaper publications.
Regarding the organizational structure, the unit has a leadership including Editor-in-Chief and 4 Deputy Editor-in-Chief. After the merger, the apparatus will be streamlined with 5 specialized departments: Administrative - General Department, Drafting Department, Program Department, Weather Department and Technical Department. The total number of employees of the unit is 87.
According to the project, the unit will conduct a review and screening of civil servants under its management to reduce at least 20% of the number of civil servants receiving salaries from the State budget. This is to streamline the apparatus and improve operational efficiency according to the local organizational arrangement policy.
