Da Nang - On the morning of August 24, the activity "Clean Up Son Tra - Scuba diving to clean up trash , rescue coral" took place at Man Thai beach (Son Tra district).

In order to organize activities to protect the ecosystem in the Son Tra peninsula sea area, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches (Management Board) coordinates with the City Youth Union - Student Association of the city. Da Nang, Da Nang University of Physical Education and Sports and units organized the activity "Clean Up Son Tra - Scuba diving to clean up trash , rescue coral".

This is an activity that connects clubs, associations, and groups to join hands to preserve, protect, and create conditions to develop coral reefs and marine ecosystems on Son Tra peninsula.

Mr. Phan Minh Hai - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches - said that the Management Board has mobilized 200 volunteers to carry out scuba diving activities to pick up trash and remove ghost nets at the island. coral reefs in Hon Sup area and clean up the natural environment in Son Tra peninsula.

In particular, many students at junior high schools in Da Nang City also enthusiastically participated in scuba diving activities to pick up trash.
