Continuing the activities within the framework of the Documentary Film Production Project on Sustainable Development 2023 - 2024, Goethe Institut Vietnam in collaboration with the Center for Supporting and Developing Cinema Talents (TPD) organizes the Documentary Film Festival on Sustainable Development: Speaking up for the future.
The film festival will take place at the National Cinema Center (Hanoi) with 10 outstanding documentaries.
The films selected for screening are pieces of the multi-dimensional picture of sustainable development, demonstrating the power of documentaries in raising awareness and inspiring action to change the way we live today, to create a better future for future generations.

According to Mr. Oliver Brandt - Director of Goethe-Institut Hanoi, some film screenings will have additional Q&A and discussion sessions with documentary directors and experts in the field of sustainable development to open up new perspectives and stimulate deeper conversations about the theme of the film festival.
At the closing screening of the film festival on November 3, “Voices for Tomorrow” also had the special participation of German documentary director Franziska von Stenglin and her documentary “Pa Va Heng - The Dust of Modern Life”.
After the screening, director Franziska von Stenglin will also share about the journey that took her from Europe to the Central Highlands jungle in Vietnam to make the film.
Female director Franziska von Stenglin will have an additional interaction with filmmakers in Hanoi through the workshop "Film directors and protagonists: The journey to create sustainable stories" with the participation of two documentary directors Ha Le Diem and Do Thu Hien.
