Having followed Mrs. Man (Phuc An) for a long time, Tam (Mr. Tai) discovered evidence related to her mother and children harming Lua (Le Ha Anh). He also suspected that she had a kind act of being absent-minded when secretly meeting strangers.
When Lua returned to Le Gia after many days of detention, Dat (Vu Thanh Tam) strongly objected because he was worried about his wife and father. Thanh (Tu Tri) was extremely worried when he heard that the enemy had returned. Dat reassured her, but his previous warning from Lua occurred to him. However, the old man's decision did not change because Lua asked for a day to prove his innocence.
Thanh was forced to admit the truth about Lua. However, instead of admitting his guilt, Thanh used a plan to postpone the soldiers, praying for a day to confess. That night, she sneaked into the Silk room intending to get the evidence. After a fight, the next morning, the whole Le family was shocked to discover Thanh had died, and Lua became the number one suspect.
