It is known that Bac Yen District, Son La Province is the next destination in the "Painting the Future" project series of Miss Luong Thuy Linh earlier this year. Located at an average altitude of 600 m above sea level, this area is famous for its rugged terrain and limited economic conditions. Here, Luong Thuy Linh took the time to visit and support the improvement of facilities for two schools, and directly presented meaningful gifts to the students.
The first school that Luong Thuy Linh visited was located in Ho Sen village, about 50 km from Bac Yen town. The project supported the repainting of the entire school, giving it a new, cleaner look. In addition, Miss World Vietnam 2019 also supported the construction of a 2,000-liter water tank to ensure a clean water source for cooking and daily activities for the students.
With 54 students and 5 teachers, Ho Sen village school is a place of study for many Mong ethnic children. Despite limited living conditions, the children always maintain a cheerful spirit and love of learning. Luong Thuy Linh directly gave practical gifts such as notebooks, pens, crayons, teddy bears and many other school supplies, played with them, asked about them and encouraged them to have more motivation to go to school.
Tam Hop village school is the second destination on this journey. Located deep in the mountains, to get here, the group had to travel by motorbike as well as transport the gifts by this means on a steep road of more than 1km.
The vehicle arrived at Tam Hop village school, Phieng Ban commune, with many steep and high roads. Luong Thuy Linh and her team overcame many obstacles to give gifts to the children. The school currently has 22 students divided into two classes, with 4 teachers directly teaching. 100% of the students here are Mong ethnic people, all of whom come from families with extremely difficult circumstances.
At this school, Luong Thuy Linh supported the repainting of the school and the construction of new toilets to improve the basic living conditions for students and teachers. The children also received educational gifts such as notebooks, pens, crayons and teddy bears from Luong Thuy Linh.
The "Drawing the Future" project was initiated by Luong Thuy Linh in 2024 in her hometown of Cao Bang. In previous trips, she has contributed to changing the appearance of many highland schools, helping to improve facilities and bring better learning conditions to children.
