Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi launched the “Heart To Head” Charity Project with a trip to Quang Nam province, bringing knowledge and joy to children in Nam Tra My district. Here, Miss World Vietnam 2023 surveyed, painted and donated bookshelves to Mang Priu Primary School and Tak Ngo Primary School.
On December 17, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, Miss Y Nhi officially announced the “Heart To Head” Charity Project. This is not only the project she brought to the 72nd Miss World contest but also accompanied her throughout her tenure and the following years. After that, Y Nhi continued to donate 3 bookcases to the classrooms of the Oncology Hospital, Gia Dinh Regiment and Gia Dinh High School.

On December 24, Miss Y Nhi began a 4-day, 3-night trip to the provinces in the Mekong Delta. The first stop was My Quy Tay Primary School (Long An), located far from the central area. Y Nhi and her team encountered many difficulties when traveling on rice fields and deep dirt roads. On the same day, she continued to donate a bookcase to Phu Thanh Primary School (Tien Giang).
Next, Miss Y Nhi was present at Khanh Thanh Tan 2 Primary School (Ben Tre) and Cai Ngang Primary School (Vinh Long). Not only did she give away books, she also spent time talking and playing with the students there.
Arriving in Dong Thap province, Y Nhi had a meaningful morning at My Xuong Primary School. Here, the beauty queen, along with teachers and students, excitedly explored the new bookshelf with many genres of books and comics. After that, Miss World Vietnam 2023 continued to bring this joy to Trung Thanh 1 Primary School (Can Tho).
The final destination of Miss Y Nhi's long trip was Xa Phien 2 Primary School in Hau Giang Province. This is the most difficult school, located in a remote area.
Up to now, Miss Y Nhi and “Heart To Head” have traveled to 12 provinces and cities, donating a total of 20 bookcases. On average, each bookcase has more than 300 books, including comics, fairy tales, life lessons, history books as well as books on life skills. In addition, the project also includes repairing and renovating some degraded schools.
"During the trips, every time I see the joy of the students, Y Nhi feels happy and has more motivation to continue pursuing the project. This journey is still very long. Y Nhi hopes to receive everyone's support so that she can bring books to more schools," Miss Y Nhi expressed.
