MC Huynh Tho continued to tell the story of the rustic and simple life of the people of the Mekong Delta on stage. She transformed into a daughter who was courted by Meritorious Teacher Manh Dung and loved him very much.
The combination of the two artists in the song "Salted Hands of the Father" - the soundtrack of the movie "Hai Muoi" moved viewers.
The father's love was nurtured from the time the daughter was young until she grew up, got married and had children. The image of the daughter before returning to the flower fields was worried, preparing each fish sauce, each dish... causing strong emotions for the audience.
When singing with teacher Manh Dung, MC Huynh Tho could not hide his emotions. The emotional singing voice combined with the two's honest acting brought tears to the audience.
Following the contest, judge Hamlet Truong said that he was also the author of the song "Salted Hands of the Father", so "I was a judge on many programs but never shed tears. But today, when Manh Dung appeared, I was moved, adding a very good co-star. This is the first time the contestant has sung his music and I gave him a score of 10".
Sharing the same opinion, famous singer Phuong Dung admitted that she cried when watching MC Huynh Tho's performance. The exam touched the heart of the female judge because she is also a mother of 8 children.
Director Vu Thanh Vinh was also surprised by Huynh Tho's clear progress, when bringing the audience back to the land of loving memories. The male judge also gave his junior absolute points for this exam.
MC Huynh Tho shared that she was happy to have a tri from her hometown to follow and support her. That helps the female MC have more emotions and motivation to complete the exam.
"I have been passionate about art since I was a child. I once told me: "I apologize, I am so poor that I cannot nurture my child's dream". But today I realized my dream. I am very grateful" - MC Huynh Tho confided.
MC Huynh Tho further revealed that when collaborating with teacher Manh Dung, she felt a little pressure because she was not only a veteran artist but also an idol of her own.
During the working process together, she learned many things from her seniors to complete the exam. "You give me the feeling of acting with your father on stage. Maybe that is why I am more dedicated, all the pressure seems to disappear and there is only humanity left" - Huynh Tho said.
For this entrance exam, Huynh Tho received 4 out of 10 points from the judges. This is considered an impressive competition night, leaving many emotions for Huynh Tho.
"My biggest goal when coming to Tinh Bolero is to express my love for this music genre and spread the beauty of the land and people of the West. For me, this journey is too complete, so no matter the result, I feel proud" - MC Huynh Tho affirmed.
