As the only Vietnamese model to perform in designer Quang Nguyen's Aviara collection, and also taking on the role of vedette, Thuy Ngan was extremely excited to be able to confidently walk and fully convey the collection's message.
Talking about this trip abroad, Thuy Ngan said: "It's been a long time since Ngan has been back on stage so I'm a bit nervous, and it's also at a big stage like Paris Fashion Week. However, designer Quang Nguyen is a close brother of Ngan's, he trusted her and invited her to perform as a vedette, so Ngan accepted immediately.
This is also an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnamese culture and fashion to international friends, so Ngan thinks that, in addition to being a model, she is also a bridge to convey fashion messages to audiences at home and abroad. It has been a long time since she has performed a fashion show, but Ngan will definitely try her best to convey the message of the collection."
She revealed that she practiced catwalking herself and discussed with the designer to understand the meaning of the collection, thereby expressing the true spirit and what the designer wanted in this show.
After flying to France, Thuy Ngan will work with the designer to try on costumes and prepare for the main show on September 28. She confided that she is not under pressure and considers this a memorable experience.
