On July 26, the Eye Center - Hue Central Hospital officially operated the CONSTELL® Vision System - Alcon system, the world's leading modern cataract surgery equipment.
The device integrates advanced technologies such as double-spoke cutting head at 10,000 cuts/second, automatic endometric pressure control, high-powered cold lighting, endometric photosensitivity and Phaco surgery. This system helps optimize the effectiveness of treating diseases such as retina pector, lumpy blood circulation, ptopendencies, diabetes retina, or endometriosis foreign bodies.
The Eye Center currently treats more than 500 cases of lumpy skin disease each year. The use of the system helps improve the quality of intensive care, reduce costs and travel time for patients in the Central - Central Highlands region.
Professor Pham Nhu Hiep - Director of Hue Central Hospital affirmed that, along with a team of trained doctors, investing in modern equipment will contribute to making the Eye Center a leading treatment facility for eye drops, meeting international standards right in the locality.
