On December 7, the 3rd Annual Workshop "Intervention for Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Quality in Diversity" organized by the Vietnam Network of Intervention Facilities for Children with Developmental Disorders in collaboration with relevant units was held in Da Nang.
This workshop is not only an opportunity for researchers, experts, teachers to share experiences, knowledge and the latest research, but also an opportunity to cooperate and find the most effective solutions to improve the quality of life for children with developmental disorders. Promote the spirit of scientific research, improve writing and presentation skills for teachers of research institutes and universities.
According to Ms. Chu Tu Le, Executive Director of the Center for Small Steps (Hai Phong City), the Vietnam Network of Intervention Facilities for Children with Developmental Disorders has the mission of gathering intervention facilities for children with developmental disorders throughout Vietnam. Building a community of intervention based on empirical science and helping each other develop, bringing values to member units in particular and the community related to children with developmental disorders in general.
"In the context of an increasing number of children experiencing developmental disorders (according to the latest statistics from the US CDC in 2023, the rate of children with autism spectrum disorder is 1:36), improving the quality of intervention is extremely urgent," said Ms. Chu Tu Le.
