A boil is a skin infection that begins in a hair follicle or oil gland in the skin. This soft, pus-filled lump usually appears on the face, neck, armpits, shoulders, and buttocks and is accompanied by swelling, severe itching, and pain.
According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, neem oil has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that help treat skin infections and help pimples heal quickly. Additionally, neem oil helps fight skin damage, aging, and prevents scarring.
By cleaning and applying a few drops of neem oil to the pimple, it will help reduce pus, soothe and help the wound fade.
If neem oil is not available, neem leaves can be used as a substitute. Boil neem leaves in water, crush them and apply them on the boils twice daily to get rid of the annoying boils.
