Hue deploys smart medical kiosks to reduce medical examination procedures

HUE - On the afternoon of March 21, leaders of the Hue City Department of Health inspected the use of a smart medical kiosk at Huong Thuy Medical Center.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Kiem Hao - Director of the Hue City Department of Health emphasized that it is necessary to increase propaganda and instruct people to use smart medical kiosks to shorten the time for medical examination procedures and cost payment. At the same time, medical units need to actively support to ensure a convenient and efficient operating system.

Previously, the Hue City Department of Health signed a cooperation agreement to deploy a smart health kiosk with Dai Than Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PVcomBank). The bank has sponsored 3 health kiosks for a number of units, contributing to promoting digital transformation in the health sector according to Project 06/CP-TTg of the Prime Minister.

Smart medical kiosks integrate many features such as: Registering for medical examination/treatment via CCCD or facial recognition card; Taking consecutive numbers, looking up medical records, service prices; Paying hospital fees directly.

This solution helps automate the registration process for medical examination and treatment, manage data effectively, reduce waiting time and save operating costs. In particular, the health kiosk helps people be proactive in registering for medical examination and treatment, while supporting doctors, nurses and health workers to manage patient information conveniently, reducing complicated administrative procedures.
