On May 31, Lam Dong II Hospital announced that the Quality Management Department and the Hospital Youth Union had just coordinated with sponsors to organize the opening of a playground for children in the Department of Pediatrics.
This playground is built on a campus of about 50 square meters.
The playground space is equipped with light physical games, reading areas, coloring corners, painting and intellectual interaction activities suitable for many ages of children.
The playground aims to create a friendly, safe and healthy playground to help children forget the pain of illness, nurture spirit, intelligence and faith in life.
This is also a meaningful project and source of encouragement for doctors, nurses, and staff to see radiant smiles when children have space to play.
Along with that, the playground also helps parents, doctors, and nurses in balancing the psychology of children during treatment at the hospital, helping to improve physical ability and recovery.
The total cost of building the playground is about 20 million VND, with the Social Working Group of the Quality Management Department and the Youth Union of Lam Dong Hospital II mobilizing funds and materials from sponsors to build.
According to the representative of the Quality Management Department of Lam Dong Hospital II, in the coming time, the unit will connect benefactors to mobilize more funds and additional supplies for the playground to be more complete and diverse to better serve the children.
On this occasion, Lam Dong II Hospital also coordinated with benefactors of the Children's Tet Program on January 1 to present nearly 60 gifts to children being treated at the Hospital.
