What are uterine fibroids?

They usually appear as a single tumour, but can manifest in various forms within the uterus. While most fibroids are small in size, in rare cases they can grow to a significant size.

What causes uterine fibroids?
According to Dr. Palshetkar, uterine fibroids often occur in older women, especially those between the ages of 30 and 40. In addition, there are a number of other causes such as:

Eating a lot of red meat and ham may increase your risk of uterine fibroids.
Can women with uterine fibroids have normal birth?
