On October 30, at the seminar on the implementation of Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW: Treatment, care and improvement of people's health, Dr. Tran Ngoc Hai - Director of Tu Du Hospital said that the content of the seminar focused on concretizing Resolution 72 in the field of protecting and caring for people's health. The main participants are hospitals and schools, showing that the specific work is the treatment and care of patients.
According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Hai, in the past 5 years, the unit has received nearly 5 million outpatient visits, more than 490,000 inpatients. The hospital has performed over 200,000 surgeries, the total number of births is more than 276,000 cases, the maternal mortality rate has decreased to 3/100,000 cases.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Hai emphasized the message of people's health as the top political goal and task; building a health culture in the whole society. Create a breakthrough for the health system by 2030, with a vision to 2045 in the direction of strengthening reserves, strengthening grassroots health care, expanding access and moving towards exemption/reduction of public hospital fees.
In addition, mobilize and coordinate public-private resources and promote responsible and quality private healthcare development.
