Pfizer Vietnam and the Long Chau Pharmacy System have just signed a cooperation agreement, focusing on sharing and updating scientific knowledge on pathology, prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases and infections. The two sides will implement direct and online training activities, improving professional capacity for doctors and pharmacists, while developing practical data and applied medical educational materials on Long Chau's AI platform.
Respiratory infections are a constant health challenge, with easily confusing symptoms, and a potential risk of serious complications in young children and the elderly. In this context, pharmacies have become a familiar "medical touchpoint", where pharmacists play a key role in initial consultation and supporting the community to reduce the burden on the health system.
Mr. Darrell Oh - General Director of Pfizer Vietnam - emphasized that the cooperation is an "important step, bringing practical and sustainable changes to Vietnamese healthcare". Long Chau representative - Ms. Nguyen Do Quyen - affirmed that the combination will create a comprehensive health care platform, in harmony with the vision for a healthier Vietnam.
