Sanofi-Aventis Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Department of Prevention and Control

On May 27, in Hanoi, the Department of Prevention - Ministry of Health and Sanofi-Aventis Vietnam Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to implement activities to support capacity building of the health system, communication to raise public awareness of disease prevention through vaccination nationwide. The memorandum of understanding is effective from the date of signing and will be maintained for implementation for 3 years from 2025-2027.

The main cooperation contents include: Reviewing, evaluating, and proposing policy solutions on vaccination activities and vaccine use in Vietnam; Developing guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Health on vaccination; Communication and education to raise awareness of vaccines to prevent important diseases and new-generation vaccines, thereby providing measures to prevent infectious diseases for different subjects of all ages.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed as a basis for implementing activities to support the review, evaluation, and proposal of policy solutions on vaccination activities, vaccine use in general and vaccination in Vietnam in particular.
