On November 1, 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City and December 6, 2025 in Da Nang, Naviva Group in collaboration with GC Biopharma (Korea) organized a scientific workshop on "Improvements in the prevention of chickenpox from the MAV/06 strain".

The event aims to update the latest scientific information related to improvements in the prevention of Aloe vera disease from the MAV/06 vaccine.

At the workshop, MSc. Dr. Nguyen Hien Minh - Deputy Head of the Vaccination Unit, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - presented the topic: "Improving the quality of chickenpox vaccine from the MAV/06 strain".

Dr. Nguyen Hien Minh informed that the MAV/06 vaccine has been used in Korea since 1993 and is being deployed in the country's expanded immunization program.

The first generation vaccine has been licensed for use in more than 30 countries, providing more than 30 million doses. In Vietnam alone, the vaccine has been used since 2008 and has now proven effective and safe.

The second generation of the MAV/06 chickenpox vaccine inherits the foundation of the first generation and has made important improvements in the production and use of the MRC-5 cell line recommended by the WHO, the production process is automatic, closed, and does not use antibiotics.
