On the morning of May 12, the Office of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee confirmed that the 4th Red Lotus Marathon will take place from October 10-12, 2025 at Van Mieu Square (Cao Lanh City). This content was decided at a meeting chaired by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan. It is expected that the 2025 Dat Sen Marathon will have about 12,000 athletes participating, an increase of about 2,000 compared to 2024.
This year's tournament has 5 competition distances, including: 42 km, 21 km, 10 km (including 2 events: movement system and advanced system "ChampionShip"), 5 km and 800 m (for children). In particular, this tournament has more music activities to interact with athletes.
This is not only a large-scale health training event, but also continues to promote and raise people's awareness of physical exercise to improve their stature, health and quality of life. At the same time, promote the image of Dong Thap - Dat Sen Hong, especially tourism activities.
With the arrangement of running routes passing through green - clean - beautiful routes, especially this year, there will be more music exchange activities, performing songs praising the land and people of Dong Thap... The pink Dat Sen Marathon not only attracts and creates a new highlight for tens of thousands of athletes, related staff and fans to directly participate, but also an opportunity for Dong Thap to have more new "volunteers" to introduce, promote and spread the image of Dong Thap province to people across the country.
