The tournament took place from September 21 to 22 at Huynh Tan Phat badminton court (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City). Although it was just a grassroots tournament, the athletes contributed matches of high professional quality.
This is the first amateur tournament in Vietnam to apply the cumulative scoring system, standardized based on the regulations of the Asian Badminton Federation. With the development of the current badminton movement, scoring will help update and evaluate the level of amateur athletes in the most accurate way.

To ensure transparency and accuracy, the organizing committee has cooperated with Mr. Huynh Tri Thinh - Level 2 coach of the Badminton World Federation, and also a member of the Development Board of the Badminton Asia Federation in building a scoring system. This contributes to supporting the classification and determination of the level of athletes more effectively.
Scoring will help clearly classify the level of athletes, help create suitable playgrounds for each subject and ensure balance in matches.
This also creates conditions for new or intermediate athletes to participate in suitable tournaments, helping them to be more confident in pursuing their passion for badminton.
