On August 9, the District Union of Nhà Bè, the People's Committee of Nhà Bè Commune, the Red Cross of Nhà Bè District, and the Vietnam Sport Community, organized the “Community Sports Day 2024 and the Launch of the Smile FootBall Project”.
The Community Sports Day 2024 and the Smile FootBall Project will continue to be implemented in various areas with the aim of creating a fun, healthy, and useful environment for children in the community, thereby helping them develop holistically in terms of culture, physicality, and spirit.
At the same time, the event will provide opportunities for children to engage in artistic, sports, and educational activities, which will play a crucial role in building a bright future for the younger generation, particularly disadvantaged and vulnerable children in the community. The children will participate in exchange activities such as tug-of-war, sack jumping, and soccer... The event is also part of the Summer Activities for Children in 2024.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee will also create a direct playground for over 300 children who are disadvantaged children from various shelters, open centers, charity schools... schools on the territory of Nhà Bè District, and some surrounding areas in Ho Chi Minh City.
