The R&D Nilai Center will help us exploit local talents as well as a deeper understanding of local market information, while seamlessly connecting with the global R&D network to bring smarter, more sustainable solutions to Southeast Asia, especially in Vietnam.
The Nilai Center brings together 35 outstanding R&D experts. In addition, the center is equipped with advanced analysis tools and a fully automatic testing system, so it will be capable of conducting high-yield testing and developing formulas based on real data, thereby promoting the creation of high-performance and sustainable products.
At the same time, Malaysia plays an increasingly important role in AkzoNobel's innovation strategy in Southeast Asia. This is further strengthened through close cooperation with strategic partners such as InvestKL.
