Three network operators cooperate to promote innovation with GSMA Open Gateway initiative

    On April 15, MobiFone, Viettel, and VNPT network operators signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance identity authentication capabilities, prevent online fraud, and promote a safer, more innovative digital ecosystem in Vietnam, through GSMA Open Gateway, an initiative initiated by the GSMA Global Mobile Association. The three network operators agreed to cooperate to build a standardized platform, enhance connectivity, and promote digital transformation with the application of camara applications.

    This initiative contributes to creating a seamless ecosystem, connecting developers, system integrators and global network operators to bring new value to both end users and service providers.

    By converting Vietnamese telecommunications networks into platforms ready for developers, this cooperation will facilitate the promotion of fields such as fintech, e-commerce and digital services through innovative solutions.

    This initiative also opens up opportunities for countries to connect and interact with global carrier.

    Mr. Julian Gorman, Director of Asia - Pacific of GSMA, said: We are delighted to welcome Viettel, VNPT and MobiFone to participate in the GSMA Open Gateway initiative. This cooperation marks an important step forward in building a more integrated and innovative digital ecosystem in Vietnam.     Ngày 8.9, UBND tỉnh Đồng Nai tổ chức lễ ký kết biên bản ghi nhớ giữa Liên minh Phát triển Hạ tầng xanh của SAIGONTEL và Tỉnh. Nội dung ghi nhớ liên quan đến việc hợp tác về tăng trưởng xanh cho toàn tỉnh. Liên minh Phát triển Hạ tầng xanh của Saigontel gồm có đại diện Công ty Cổ phần Công nghệ Viễn thông Sài Gòn (SAIGONTEL), Công ty Energy Capital Vietnam (ECV), Công ty TNHH Allotrope Partners (AP) và Công ty Trách nhiệm hữu hạn MAIUS.
