With the PaperMatte screen, integrated WPS office application and GoPaint creative software, the Huawei MatePad 11.5’’S tablet is evaluated to have good performance.

This new MatePad features an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, upgraded from the 2K 120Hz LCD screen of last fall. The battery capacity has increased to 8,800mAh,

The screen with nanotexture material creates a dull feeling with a higher friction coefficient for the thumb and stylus. It does not slip and does not reflect like a regular glass screen. This makes this tablet ideal for sketching images, creating notes with the help of the accompanying M-Pencil stylus.

Huawei MatePad 11.5’’S is thin and light, only 6.1mm thick and weighs 510g. It has 4 speakers and 2 microphones, operating well on the basis of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. To increase work efficiency, this product provides a multi-window feature, allowing users to use multiple windows simultaneously, change their size, and stack them as desired.

In addition to the standard office application WPS, this MatePad also has a note-taking application, allowing users to record audio while taking notes on key points, but then tap on the note to play back the audio from the corresponding part.

The GoPaint application is the highlight of this tablet, co-developed by Huawei and the China Academy of Art, with numerous intelligent features and seamless layer conversion support, allowing users to create some beautiful artworks using its prominent features.

This tablet also comes with a detachable keyboard, which can be easily removed for work. This means that users can place the tablet on a higher surface while keeping the keyboard at a comfortable height for better working posture. The keyboard casing is thin and does not increase the weight of the device.

The device runs on Huawei's HarmonyOS operating system. HarmonyOS does not have Google Mobile Services integrated, but there is a new alternative solution called MicroG, which essentially replaces some Google applications.

According to Forbes and GSM Arena reviews, this tablet has many advantages, but its design is not particularly impressive or eye-catching. Additionally, it also faces limitations and barriers when accessing Google Suite.

In Vietnam, the Huawei MatePad 11.5’’S has a price of 14,490,000 VND, competing with mid-range products from Apple, Samsung, etc.
