Strengthening investment promotion and support activities
On August 30, speaking with reporters, the leader of the Nghe An Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that since the beginning of the year, the Center has successfully completed its assigned tasks, had many effective activities, and contributed to the socio-economic development of the province.
Specifically, regarding investment promotion, consulting and support activities, the Center has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Program for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion in Nghe An province in 2024. Submit to the Provincial People's Committee to develop an Investment Promotion Program in Nghe An province in 2025.
Advised and coordinated the successful organization of the Conference to announce the Nghe An Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 and the Project to adjust the overall Master Plan for the construction of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, Nghe An province to 2040.
Review and edit the Investment Promotion document "Nghe An - Investment Destination and List of Projects Attracting Investment in Nghe An Province to 2030".
Complete the contractor selection procedure, sign the contract for the 2023 Department, Sector and Local Competitiveness Assessment (DDCI) package; coordinate with the DDCI consulting unit to revise the methodology and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. Deploy training for investigators and conduct sampling and surveys according to the approved survey form.
Liaison with the Department of Construction, People's Committees of localities: Vinh, Cua Lo, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai to advise on organizing a working session between representatives of the provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and sectors with Indochina Capital Group, Dears Brain and N&V Bridge Investor Consortium.
Collect and complete digital data to serve investment consulting and support, including: Updating the system of legal documents on investment and related laws; synthesizing land use, construction, and zoning plans of 21 districts, cities, and towns in the province...
Deploy to welcome and work with large business delegations coming to learn about investment and coordinate with departments and branches to support information and advise on project implementation procedures for investors.
Promoting trade and tourism activities
Within the framework of the working trip of the Nghe An Provincial High-Level Delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu from March 31 to April 6, 2024, the Center successfully advised on organizing 2 conferences to connect and promote investment, trade and tourism in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
At the same time, the opening of a booth to introduce and promote typical OCOP products of Nghe An province was held at the Trade Promotion Center under the Vietnam Business Association in Australia. On this occasion, the Center and the Vietnam Business Association in Australia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on investment, trade and tourism cooperation.
Organized 2 provincial booths to participate in the 33rd Vietnam International Trade Fair - VIETNAM EXPO. This is a large event with a total scale of more than 500 enterprises present at 600 booths from 16 countries and territories.
Attending the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2024, the Center successfully organized the Nghe An Tourism Promotion Conference in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 "Journey to the source - Nghe An land of affection" with the participation of more than 200 delegates. In addition, 2 booths promoting Nghe An tourism were also highly appreciated by the business community.
Organizing a space to promote Nghe An Tourism at the 2024 VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair with the highlight of promoting the cultural space of Western Nghe An, attracting thousands of visitors, contributing to promoting Nghe An tourism in the trend of "Green tourism associated with sustainable development".
Successfully organized the Conference on connecting and promoting tourism between Nghe An - Thai Nguyen and the Northern provinces in 2024; and implemented a working program with the promotion agencies of the provinces: Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang.

Propose GO!Vinh supermarket to support the premises, coordinate in designing and building a space to introduce OCOP products and specialties of Nghe An province at GO!VINH Supermarket.
Actively support and develop businesses
Continue to effectively implement the Project to support small and medium enterprises in Nghe An province for the period 2021-2025. Advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Plan to support enterprises in 2024; implement bidding procedures to select units to implement bidding packages to support small and medium enterprises in Nghe An province in 2024.
Organize business survey programs in districts, cities, and towns. In addition, conduct surveys on business support needs in various fields, propose and develop support plans and programs that are appropriate to the practical needs of businesses.
Coordinate with the Department of Enterprise Development to organize the Conference "Implementing business support work and promoting digital transformation towards developing Nghe An's digital economy".
Advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to organize a Workshop on developing value chains and consuming OCOP products. Successfully chaired the Workshop with more than 250 delegates attending.
