The project is being implemented simultaneously with the rooftop solar power system at Hoa Sen's two largest corrugated iron factories in Phu My, Nghe An. This is one of SP Group's first CaaS projects in Vietnam, marking the group's expansion in the field of developing clean and sustainable energy infrastructure.
CaaS industrial cooling service developed by SP Group is an advanced cooling solution, capable of being expanded and helping to save costs. This model does not require initial investment costs.
SP Group takes on the role of designing, constructing, owning and operating the entire high-performance cooling system as well as maintaining the entire life cycle. Customers only need to pay based on the amount of cooling energy consumed, helping businesses avoid the burden of infrastructure investment, optimize energy efficiency, operational stability, and reduce emissions.
Mr. Brandon Chia, Executive Director of Sustainable Energy Solutions (South Asia) of SP Group, shared: This is the first time SP Group has deployed an industrial cooling service under the Cooling-as-a- Service model in Vietnam, marking an important step forward in promoting sustainable cooling solutions for the industry. By providing integrated cooling models along with solar energy systems, we support customers such as Hoa Sen Group to reduce carbon emissions while maintaining operational efficiency. SP wishes to expand this model to the entire industry in Vietnam.
