Following the success of the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023, this year the program is organized with the theme "Historical Autumn" on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10) to promote the beauty, cultural and historical values, honor scenic spots, destinations, relics and heritages.
The Fashion Show - Autumn Imprints is considered the highlight of the Hanoi Autumn Festival. With the performance stage located right in the center and professional artistic staging, it created a spectacular fashion night of 8 designers from the Vietnam Ao Dai Cultural Club.
On the traditional ao dai background, each designer shows their own perspective, creative exploration and even stylization to make this familiar costume richer and more novel.
In addition to her role as the program's General Director, designer Hoang Ly - President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Club attracted attention when choosing bamboo as the creative inspiration for the collection "Green Bamboo - Imprint of Vietnamese Beauty". In addition, she also attached many images of famous cities of Vietnam to the ao dai such as: Hoan Kiem Lake - Hanoi, Floating Market - Can Tho, Hue Imperial City - Thua Thien Hue, Ha Long Bay - Quang Ninh, terraced fields - Lao Cai, Trang An - Ninh Binh...
In addition, the designs are all printed in 4D by designer Hoang Ly and attached with thousands of sparkling crystals. With precise cutting and sewing techniques, the ao dai become extremely graceful and charming to convey the message of promoting Vietnamese tourism to international friends.
In particular, the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Club auctioned 7 Ao Dai sets to raise funds for charity to support people in the North affected by storm No. 3.
