Inspired by the family album with medals and relics of the grandparents, designer - creative director Cuong Dam has transformed that memory into a fashion language. This is how he connects today's young generation with the previous generation, to show gratitude and continue the values that have become a flow.
In an old album of the family, the old man appears in a battlefield surgery in Dien Bien valley. In her hometown of Hebei, she quietly carries medicine and ice cubes on her shoulders to send to the front line. The previous generation, whether in the front line or behind, shared a simple but steadfast belief: The country must be independent, must be free, so that everyone can live fully and no longer be divided.

They have dedicated and sacrificed their own blood to join the common blood of the nation, the blood has dyed the national flag red. From that image, Cuong Dam and his team created the photo series "The Blood", recalling family memories and recreating them in fashion language.
Accordingly, Cuong Dam has transformed heritage, memories, and souvenirs of her family into fashion designs. Accompanying the photo series is Dahan Phuong Oanh - the face of a young model who has marked Vietnamese identity at the International Fashion Week.
Talking about this special fashion photo series, Cuong Dam said: "In each photo, I still see grandparents and an entire generation standing behind, quiet but proud. And then, the question arose: If they had such great faith, what would be our faith the young people today? How to make that source of flow not only flow in memories, but also shape the present and the future? ".

Originating from private stories, "The Flow of Blood" has created a simple but strong message: From the personal drops of blood in each person, each family; with faith and ideals, integrated into the common blood of the nation. This is a silent but lasting gratitude, touching the core values that many generations have been preserving.
Growing up in a family with a revolutionary tradition, creative director Cuong Dam inherited a spiritual heritage from his grandparents - those who have devoted their whole life to the country.
His grandfather is military doctor Dam Tien Hien, 65 years of Party membership, who has gone through fierce battlefields from Dien Bien Phu, Khe Sanh (Quang Tri), Southern Laos' Route 9 to the Ho Chi Minh campaign, Cambodia and the northern border.
Next to him was Ms. Nguyen Thi Bon - a nurse, a female markswoman, quietly nurturing life in the backyard.
His maternal grandfather is a military officer, 53 years old in the Party, and worked at the Military Region 3 Command, while his maternal grandfather, Nguyen Thi Mui, 64 years old in the Party, is firmly attached to the Commercial sector.
The mark and heritage of the grandparents are still present and have become the inspiration that Cuong Dam sent through a special photo series on the occasion of National Day 2.9.
