The Congress gathered 200 official delegates, representing nearly 400 members who are organizations and individuals participating in the Association.
The National Data Association was established under Decision No. 10/QD-BNV 10/01/2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, with the mission of connecting management agencies, enterprises, organizations and individuals operating in the data field.
The Association aims to build a strong data ecosystem, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy and increasing the value of data in the national economy.
At the congress, many important contents were implemented and the Congress Resolution was approved with high consensus from members.
General Luong Tam Quang - Politburo member, Minister of Public Security - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the National Data Society. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long - Deputy Minister of Public Security - was elected Permanent Vice President of the Association; Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security - was elected Executive Vice President.
In addition, the Association also has Vice Presidents: Mr. Tran Minh Son, Vice Chairman of Sun Group Joint Stock Company (Sungroup); Mr. Le Tri Thong, General Director of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ); Mr. Nguyen Thieu Nam, Deputy General Director of Masan Group Joint Stock Company; Mr. Ngo Chi Dung, Chairman of Tam Anh Hospital, Vietnam Vaccin Joint Stock Company; Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of CMC Group; Mr. Dinh Ba Thanh, Chairman of DatVietVAC Group; Ms. Thai Huong, Chairman of TH Group Joint Stock Company (TH Group); Mr. Nguyen Hung Son, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association of UNESCO, General Director of UNESCO Central Committee; Mr. Hoang Quoc, Chairman of Vietnam Information Group.
