The grant from Generali will be used by UNICEF Vietnam for the project "Protecting Children in Emergencies", through training programs to improve the capacity of staff, teachers, and parents; supporting mental health & psychology for affected children.
The program will be implemented in the localities: Cao Bang, Lao Cai and Dien Bien.
With this support, Generali hopes to contribute to improving the capacity of child protection staff, helping them better manage cases of children at risk of violence, abuse, and distraction. Thanks to timely identification of important needs of students, staff will connect students and their families more effectively with care, protection, etc. services.
At the same time, Generali's support will help UNICEF promote mental health care and provide psychological support for children and families affected by natural disasters. These efforts aim to better protect vulnerable children, towards a safe and comprehensive environment for all children.
In the coming time, Generali Vietnam's community projects through The Human Safety Net Vietnam will continue to focus on the field of Comprehensive Children's Development. Generali and The Human Safety Net Vietnam hope to help children have more comprehensive development opportunities, helping disadvantaged families to be more confident on their life journey.
