SCG Group promotes the development of a low-carbon economy in Vietnam

SCG Group announced the business results of the third quarter of stable growth, continued to expand Low-carbon cement production, developed smart value products, etc.

In the third quarter of 2025, SCG Group recorded a profit of VND 616 billion (equivalent to USD 23 million) and EBITDA reached VND 11.3 trillion (about USD 428 million). Accumulated in the first 9 months of the year, the group's EBITDA reached 35.44 trillion VND (about 1.34 billion USD), showing the ability to generate strong cash flow. Sales revenue reached VND96.97 trillion (about USD3.68 billion).

SCG Group continues to enhance self-recovery capabilities through four key strategies: maintaining financial discipline, optimizing costs, expanding in potential markets such as Vietnam, accelerating the development of smart value products and Green products.

Vietnam continues to be an important growth driver for SCG Group in the region, bringing in 25.3 trillion VND (about 960 million USD) in revenue in the first 9 months of 2025. In the third quarter, SCG Group successfully resumed the operation of the Long Son petrochemical complex. At the same time, the group continues to promote the implementation of the ESG 4 Plus strategy with clear progress in four aspects: innovation, low-emission transformation, community development and human resource improvement.

On July 1, at the Green Trade Forum 2025, SCG Group introduced the ESG 4 Plus strategy and the Saraburi Low carbon City model from Thailand - a typical initiative being implemented in Thailand, proving its effectiveness in promoting green transformation. The event organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also marked the launch of EcoHub - the first green B2B e-commerce platform in Vietnam.
