The People's Committee of Mong Cai City today (December 26) announced that the Standing Committee of the Mong Cai City Youth Union and the Mong Cai Police Party Committee have just announced the decision to concurrently hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Commune-level Youth Union for 16 regular commune-level police officers.
Implementing the policy of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Provincial Party Committee and City Party Committee, Mong Cai City People's Committee on introducing regular police officers to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary concurrently holding the position of Youth Union of communes and wards, up to now, Mong Cai City is the first district-level locality in the province to implement and complete this policy the earliest.
In particular, 100% of the Police Youth Unions were established under the Youth Union at the commune level, and 16 regular police officers from 16 communes and wards in the city were appointed to the position of Executive Committee member, Standing Committee member and concurrently Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2022-2027 term.
The implementation of the policy of regular police officers concurrently holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of communes and wards contributes to promoting the role of "bridge" between the Youth Union and the grassroots police force; improving the quality of propaganda and education on law observance for students and young people; and at the same time contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.
