1,500 apricot trees to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South to the people of Quang Binh

Quang Binh - The representative office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Quang Binh presented 1,500 special appetizers to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South.

On the afternoon of April 29, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Quang Binh organized a special donation ceremony of 1,500 special apricot trees on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) to local people.

Early in the morning, many people came to the Representative Office and Quang Binh Provincial Post Office to learn and receive the allowances. The atmosphere at the issuing points was vibrant and solemn.

Nguyen Thi Nhi, a student at Quang Binh University, shared: "I am very happy to receive this special allowance. The historical content is vividly recreated, helping the younger generation like me to be more proud of the nation".

Mr. Nguyen Long, in Dong Hoi City (Quang Binh Province) said that he received a plaque to give to his grandfather, as a meaningful gift on an important occasion.

Readers can scan the four QR codes on the sub-shelf to watch the video vividly recreating historical moments in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, such as the image of tanks khucking down the Dinh Doc Lap gate.

The free supplement distribution event is part of a series of activities of Nhan Dan Newspaper towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, aiming to spread the heroic historical value to a large number of readers nationwide.
