On the afternoon of March 5, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of the People's Committee of Tan Minh commune (Tien Lang district, Hai Phong) confirmed the drowning accident that killed two children.
The incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. the same day in Khoi Vy Ha village, Tan Minh commune. At this time, a group of 6-7 male students played soccer on the field and then went swimming in the pond. As a result, the two nephews drowned. Both victims were born in 2014 and are 5th grade students in the area.
Currently, the victims' bodies have been handed over to their families for funeral arrangements.
