On May 16, news from the Ministry of Transport - Railway Police Department, Hai Phong City Police said: From May 7, 2025 to May 13, 2025, the traffic police force in the city has handled many cases of violating traffic safety order, including many cars that were fined.
Specifically: The traffic police force has recorded 74 violations, of which 74 cases were handled at the team. The total fine for the violators is up to 578,700,000 VND.
Along with that, the traffic police also sent checkpoints for 19 violations; Revoked driving licenses from 1 to 4 months for 57 cases; deducted points from driving licenses for 14 cases; paid public service fines for 72 cases.
In particular, Hai Phong authorities have also sent notices to prevent traffic violations against 20 vehicle owners who were recorded by traffic cameras for traffic violations, so that vehicle owners can proactively go to the nearest facility to pay the fine and resolve the violation according to regulations.
Previously, since the end of 2024, Hai Phong city has installed many traffic surveillance cameras on routes and streets to control violating vehicles. This has contributed to reducing traffic violations in the area.
