3 projects in Phu Lien, Hai Phong are expected to be completed in January

Hai Phong - On January 7, leaders of Phu Lien ward inspected the actual progress of some projects in the ward.

The delegation conducted field surveys at the projects: renovation and upgrading of alley 243 Hoang Quoc Viet; renovation and upgrading of Dong Quy road; project of road connecting Nguyen Luong Bang road with Tran Nhan Tong road.

Up to now, the projects are being urgently constructed, many items have been completed. The remaining items are being urgently completed. It is expected that in January 2026, the above projects will be completed and put into use, contributing to improving traffic and travel conditions for people.

Through actual inspection, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Council Bui Thi Tuyet Mai reminded the investor, the Kien An Area Project Management Board, to continue to urge contractors to increase manpower, machinery, and vehicles to focus on construction, accelerate progress, and use solutions to complete the works before January 20. Contractors coordinate with relevant units to urgently complete dossiers and procedures to proceed with settlement, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and completion before January 31.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee listened to reports on the construction progress and site clearance of projects in the area. By January 6, the project to build a drainage system from Phan Dang Luu street through Hoang Quoc Viet street to Lach Tray river had reached 98% of the construction volume, and is completing the dossier for acceptance. Projects: renovating and upgrading alley 243 Hoang Quoc Viet, Tran Nhoi street, Dau Phuong street are expected to be completed in January. Dong Quy street is expected to be paved around January 20. The project to complete the 3rd and 4th floor phases of the 4-story row of Ngoc Son Elementary School has also completed construction and is installing classroom equipment.

For phase 2 of the project connecting Nguyen Luong Bang road with Tran Nhan Tong road, the total area recovered for project implementation is 22.23 ha. In which, the area of agricultural land is 20.145 ha of 346 households; 0.3629ha of residential land of 2 households; 2.85ha of irrigation land. For agricultural land area, the total approved compensation and site clearance cost is 171.368 billion VND for 331 households. There are still 15 cases that have not been approved for compensation and support plans, including: 8 agricultural land plots not yet reclaimed, 7 households still have recommendations.

For cases that have approved compensation and support plans, functional agencies have paid compensation costs to 254 households with an amount of nearly 128.635 billion VND, equivalent to 75%. The remaining 77 cases have not paid compensation costs with an amount of more than 42.733 billion VND.
