    Dong Nai - On July 16, according to Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, from the beginning of 2024 until now, 195 occupational accidents have occurred in the area, killing more than 200 people, including 30 deaths.

    The report of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to the People's Council of Dong Nai province clearly states: According to reports of 350 businesses in the province, from January 1, 2024 to June 26, 2024, 195 accidents occurred in the area. workers , the number of victims was 205 people.

    The number of fatal occupational accidents occurred 25, killing 30 people. Of these, the number of incidents occurring at businesses in industrial zones was 7, killing 7 people, and occurring outside the industrial zone were 18, killing 23 people.

    The type of business with the most fatal occupational accidents is limited liability companies (17 cases).

    Initial analysis shows that 52% of fatal occupational accidents are due to the employer's fault (lack of safe working measures and procedures, unsafe machinery and equipment...); 20% due to employee error and 28% due to other causes.
